We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, create or manage a MAGISNAT account, activate a test kit, purchase our products, receive wellness omics testing services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us.
The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

Biological samples collected for testing
In Short: We collect and process biological samples only to perform the wellness omics testing services requested by you.
When you purchase, activate, or use a MAGISNAT test, you may provide a biological sample, such as a saliva, swab, blood, stool, or other sample type depending on the specific test purchased. Biological samples are used only as necessary to perform the requested laboratory analysis, generate your results, prepare your report, provide customer support, complete quality-control procedures, maintain service quality, protect the security of the Services, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, laboratory, and contractual obligations.
MAGISNAT may use authorized laboratories and service providers to process biological samples and perform the requested testing services on our behalf. These laboratories and service providers are permitted to use biological samples, extracted material, test data, and related information only as necessary to provide the requested services to MAGISNAT, operate securely, complete quality-control procedures, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, laboratory, and contractual obligations.
MAGISNAT does not sell biological samples, genetic data, omics data, health data, wellness data, test-result information, account login information, or other sensitive personal information. MAGISNAT does not use biological samples, genetic data, omics data, health data, wellness data, or test-result information for advertising or targeted advertising.
MAGISNAT does not use biological samples for scientific research unless you have been separately informed and have provided any consent required by applicable law. MAGISNAT does not retain biological samples, genetic data, omics data, health data, wellness data, analytical data, or statistical data for scientific research purposes after account deletion.
Biological sample retention and destruction periods may vary depending on the sample type, test type, laboratory process, quality-control requirements, regulatory requirements, legal obligations, and the applicable service arrangement. Unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, laboratory obligations, or quality-control procedures, biological samples are destroyed or permanently de-identified after the requested analysis and any required quality-control or laboratory retention period is complete.
If you request deletion of your MAGISNAT account and associated data, and if any biological sample linked to your account is still stored and can still be associated with you, MAGISNAT will process your request and will destroy, or instruct the applicable authorized laboratory or service provider to destroy or permanently de-identify, the remaining sample within 30 days after verification of your request, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, laboratory obligations, dispute-resolution obligations, security obligations, or the applicable service arrangement.

1. Account information, such as name, email address, username, password, authentication data, contact details, and account identifiers: retained while your MAGISNAT account is active. After a verified account deletion request, this information is deleted or permanently de-identified within 30 days, unless limited retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
2. Genetic, omics, health, wellness, questionnaire, test-result, and report information linked to your MAGISNAT account: retained while your MAGISNAT account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After a verified account deletion request, this information is deleted or permanently de-identified within 30 days, unless limited retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
3. Test kit, sample, laboratory, and order identifiers linked to your MAGISNAT account: retained while needed to provide testing, reporting, customer support, quality control, and compliance records. After a verified account deletion request, this information is deleted or permanently de-identified within 30 days, unless limited retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
4. Biological samples: Biological samples are used only as needed to perform the requested laboratory analysis, generate your results, prepare your report, complete quality-control procedures, provide customer support, maintain service quality, protect the security of the Services, and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, laboratory, and contractual obligations.
Unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, laboratory obligations, quality-control procedures, or the applicable service arrangement, biological samples are destroyed or permanently de-identified after the requested analysis and any required quality-control or laboratory retention period is complete.
If you request deletion of your MAGISNAT account and associated data, and if any biological sample linked to your account is still stored and can still be associated with you, MAGISNAT will destroy, or instruct the applicable authorized laboratory or service provider to destroy or permanently de-identify, the remaining sample within 30 days after verification of your request, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, laboratory obligations, dispute-resolution obligations, security obligations, or the applicable service arrangement.
MAGISNAT does not retain biological samples for scientific research purposes after account deletion.
5. Payment and transaction records: we do not store full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by our payment providers. We may retain invoices, purchase records, and transaction records for up to 7 years where required for tax, accounting, audit, legal, or compliance purposes.
6. Customer support communications: retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is necessary to resolve a dispute, comply with law, prevent fraud, protect our legal rights, or maintain service security.
7. Marketing preferences and communications: retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, request account deletion, or ask us to stop sending marketing communications.
8. Security logs, fraud-prevention records, and technical logs: retained for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate security incidents, prevent fraud, comply with law, or protect the Services.
9. Backup copies: deleted information may remain in encrypted backup archives until those backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle, generally within 90 days. If a backup is restored, we will re-apply any completed deletion request to the restored data.
When we no longer have an ongoing legal or business need to process your personal information, we will delete it or permanently de-identify it. MAGISNAT does not retain biological samples, genetic data, omics data, health data, wellness data, analytical data, or statistical data for scientific research purposes after account deletion.
We may retain limited information after an account deletion request only where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or enforcement obligations. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes and will not be used for marketing, wellness profiling, product recommendations, or scientific research.
How do we keep your information safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process.
However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from the Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
Do we collect information from minors?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor dependent and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. What are your privacy rights?

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal or, where applicable law allows, processing conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by contacting us using the details provided below. You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you for non-marketing purposes, such as service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, responses to service requests, security notices, or legal notices.
Account deletion and data deletion
You may request deletion of your MAGISNAT app account and associated personal information at any time.
You can submit an account deletion request in one of the following ways:
1. In the MAGISNAT app, go to Settings > Account / Privacy > Delete Account and Data.
2. Submit a request through our account deletion request page athttps://magisnat.com/account-deletion
3. Contact us atinfo@magisnat.comusing the email address associated with your MAGISNAT account.
Before processing an account deletion request, we may verify your identity to protect your biological samples, genetic, health, wellness, test-result, and account information from unauthorized deletion. Verification may include confirming your email address, account information, or other information reasonably necessary to confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized representative.
After we verify your request, we will permanently delete or permanently de-identify your MAGISNAT app account and personal information linked to that account within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law.
Account deletion may include deletion or permanent de-identification of your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, billing address, username, password or authentication data, account identifiers, test kit identifiers, sample identifiers, biological samples that are still stored and linked to your account, health questionnaires, genetic and omics information, wellness results, reports, app activity linked to your account, customer support communications linked to your account, and other personal information associated with your MAGISNAT account.
If any biological sample linked to your MAGISNAT account is still stored and can still be associated with you at the time of your verified account deletion request, MAGISNAT will destroy, or instruct the applicable authorized laboratory or service provider to destroy or permanently de-identify, the remaining sample within 30 days after verification of your request, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law, regulatory requirements, laboratory obligations, dispute-resolution obligations, security obligations, or the applicable service arrangement.
After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access your MAGISNAT account, previous reports, test results, recommendations, or related app services. Please download any information you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
We may retain limited information after account deletion where necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or enforcement obligations. We will not retain genetic, omics, health, wellness, analytical, or statistical data for scientific research purposes after account deletion.
If we have shared your personal information with service providers that process information on our behalf, we will instruct those service providers to delete or permanently de-identify the applicable information, unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate compliance, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.
As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

We use and retain the collected categories of personal information as needed to provide the Services and as described below:

Category L information may be used, or disclosed to a service provider or contractor, for additional, specified purposes. You have the right to limit the use or disclosure of your sensitive personal information. Genetic data will never be viewed by others except by us, and even then, it will only be accessed in an anonymized manner.
We may also collect other personal information outside of these categories through instances where you interact with us in person, online, or by phone or mail in the context of:
- receiving help through our customer support channels;
- participation in customer surveys or contests;
- facilitation in the delivery of our Services and to respond to your inquiries.
Access to biological samples, genetic, omics, health, and wellness information is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who need access to provide the Services, operate the app, perform testing and reporting, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations. We do not use biological samples, genetic, omics, health, wellness, test-result, or report information for advertising or targeted advertising, and we do not sell this information.
MAGISNAT does not retain biological samples, genetic data, omics data, health data, wellness data, analytical data, or statistical data for scientific research purposes after account deletion.
Will your information be shared with anyone else?
We may disclose your personal information with service providers pursuant to a written contract between us and each service provider. Service providers may use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us or on our behalf, including cloud hosting, app and website infrastructure, payment processing, order fulfillment, laboratory or testing support, customer support, communication, security, analytics, diagnostics, and legal or compliance support.
We may also disclose personal information if required by law, to protect our rights and the rights of others, to prevent fraud or security incidents, in connection with a business transaction, or with your consent.
MAGISNAT does not sell personal information. MAGISNAT does not sell biological samples, genetic data, health data, wellness data, account login information, or other sensitive personal information. MAGISNAT does not use biological samples, genetic, omics, health, or wellness information for targeted advertising.
California Residents
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information, if any, that we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing using the contact information provided below.
If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California.
We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Services, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from all our systems, such as backups, until deletion is possible through our normal backup cycle.

Verification process

Before processing an account deletion or data deletion request, we may verify your identity to protect your account, biological samples, genetic, health, wellness, test-result, and report information from unauthorized access or deletion.
Verified account deletion requests will be completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law. After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access your MAGISNAT account, previous reports, test results, recommendations, or related app services.
If any biological sample linked to your MAGISNAT account is still stored at the time of your verified deletion request, MAGISNAT will destroy the sample or instruct the applicable laboratory or service provider to destroy the sample within 30 days, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law.
